you divine and move the decimal over 2 places
so say you want to figure out the percentage of red marbles in a bag of red yellow blue and purple marbles you would take the number of red marbles and divide by the total number of marbles and move the decimal place over two spaces to the right to get the percentage or multiply by 100 it does the same thing so say there are 5 red marbles and 25 marbles in total you would do 5/25 which is 0.2 and you multiply this number by 100 to get 20%
