HOW DO YOU GRAPH X-3Y=6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let x=0, find y => first point then let y=0, find x => 2nd point connect them.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

generally, you find a bunch of x and y values that make the statement true and connect them on the graph

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if you can recognize the the equation is a line.....then only 2 points are needed, but if you cant tell what its going to be? plug in values of x and y that will make the statement true....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

draw a table for x and y then assume values after making x the subject

OpenStudy (anonymous):

example after making x the subject say if x=2 what is the value of y?
