how do I write an equation of the axis symmetry for y= -4^2 ?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

I would assume you simply state the axis...in this case x and the value of x that it is symmetrical with: x = 0 is your axis of symmetry; the x=0 axis is also known as the "y axis"

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if you can find the point of its vertex its the x coordinate usually..

o okay thank you!
