Betsy wants to give less than 7 figurines to each friend. There are 42 figurines. I don't know how to set it up.

are there any missing information for this probem? or is this all the given?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How many friends is she giving figurines to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it how many friends that she would give figurines to? while giving less than 7 figurines per person? are you looking for the least number of friends?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I want to say 42/7 < f. so then 6<f meaning she would need more than 6 friends to give all 42 away and each have less than 7. Am I thinking this through correctly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what r figurines?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if anything you should divide by 6 - since no one should have 7 figurines
