The company discovered that it costs $27 to produce 2 camera cases, $105 to produce 4 camera cases, and $675 to produce 10 camera cases. Using quadratic functions, find the cost of producing 5 camera cases.
The way I solved this was by using the quadred on my calculator (not sure how else to find the quadratic function for this). I got the equation 7x^2 -3x+5 and the price of producing 5 camera cases comes out to 165$. Sorry for not being much more of a help
All i need really someone who will do them for me so i can move on in my class. i'm falling behind cause i can't pass this.
Well it'd be better if you could do them on your own so if we're busy, you can solve this! What I did was I put them into my calculator and ran the quadratic regression... do you want me to explain how to do that? (I have a Ti-84)
i don't have a calculator that can solve it. i have a basic.
http://mathforum.org/library/drmath/view/55454.html Here's a nice link that explains how to find the parabola that goes through 3 points. This might help!
