Where can I find a reference of the predefined module functions? For example in in ps2 the math module is imported, and in ps3 the from function of the string module is imported. Is there a general list of these funtions and what they do that I can use to decide if they will be helpful for the specific program I am working on?

Here it is but I doubt you want to go through them to find what you need there are so many it's crazy. I think it would be better to use what you know unless you are looking for a specific thing. http://docs.python.org/library/

Thanks Onyx.  That's definately an exhausive list.  I guess what I'm really looking for in this case is the specific arguments that can be passed to the find function in the string module.  Is there a quick reference for this course for functions that are used?

For things just in this course no but if you go to the link there is a section for just strings still kind of long though, If I find it I'll post it but I don't think there is one. sorry
