Write the trigonometric expression in terms of sine and cosine, and then simplify. cos^2(theta)(1+tan^2(theta))

I used x instead of thetha ... easier to type... everywhere you see an x replace it with a theta ... If you don't understand a step, let me know. cos^2x(1 + tan^2x) cos^2x(1 + sin^2x ----- cos^2x) cos^2x( cos^2x + sin^2x ----- ----- cos^2x cos^2x cos^2x ( cos^2x + sin^2x) -------------- cos^2x the cos^2x's cancel and cos^2x + sin^2x = 1 so the answer is 1

thanks :)
