A particle moves along a straight line with equation of motion s = f(t), where s is measured in meters and t in seconds. Find the velocity and speed when t = 8. f(t) = t ^(-1) - t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find the velocity you need to take the dervitive of the s, so v(t)= -1t^(-2)-1 , now plug 8 in t and u will get , v= -1.015, and the speed will be the absloute value

got it!! thank u!!
