Holy ...crap. PEOPLE! chill!!! juss be good with giving it ur all i mean if other ppl r juss getting the answers and not learning it then THEY will fail!! How does that affect u?. ^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It affects us when they fill the screen with their questions rather than waiting to get help and others are not able to get help also.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tru tru. But nobody says some people have to help them. thats ther choice.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i get the point that johnfreeman was trying to make. and i understand his opinion but i dont have to share it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

EXACTLY!thats rude

OpenStudy (radar):

It is usually most obvious to the casual observer, when one ask a question when they are sincere in wanting to understand versus those who are just trying to get someone else to do their homework.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya it is kinda rude. but im not on anyones side here. im neutral... so i can see BOTH points of views. And yes good point however, what point are you trying to make? Hows it gonna help if you tell 1 person out of hundreds to not take up the space.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it wont.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Though i can appreciate how concerned you guys are about the students genuinely concerned about getting a good education.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is incredibly disrespectful to fill the questions queue with your own questions. People are spending the time to explain things. Think about it, if someone asked you how to do a math problem, then you spent a few minutes or so to explain how to do it, the reasons behind doing things, ways to look at the problem, to find out that they ignored you to when you got to what the answer was and then said, thanks, then asked how to do the next question which uses the exact same reasonings behind the last problem and that they should be able to do if they payed attention. I am not explaining this because I am particularly upset, but because it astounds me how some people don't understand how this could be annoying.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, plus when I am helping someone I want to know they are involved and giving feedback and not simply waiting for me to finish the problem for them and then copy it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree with johnfreeman.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is a skill that is really really important to have so I hope that the time I spend typing this might pay off when someone realizes they can really help themselves by also paying attention to how the person explaining approaches the problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. i think that you both have an extremely good point of view. and im starting to agree with it, however the tone of voice you gave when explaining your annoyance was not necessary, even if it was not intended.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it comes off as rude and judgemental and if its that annoying just ignore the posts

OpenStudy (anonymous):

overall I agree with johnfreeman, I just think that it could be have said in a less blunt way.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same here and that was all i was trying to say. Well put jprahman

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You know what's rude? Me explaining a problem and how to do it to a person for half an hour and then them simply pasting another problem with the exact same logic 2 minutes later. Why did I waste my time trying to help that person out if they are not bothered by the procedure and simply want the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.. actually that is very rude. But i guess some people just dont aim to be the better person. hmm?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think you can have the point to have someone improve their way of doing math and accepting help, and also being offended at someone being completely rude and selfish. The people writing the answers also have feelings.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes they do. EVERYONE has feelings but i guess i cant say anything more to get it into any of your heads. what goes around, eventually comes around. Be the better person. Karma will get those who dont.

OpenStudy (radar):

I don't think John was addressing the person who asked the question but he was not happy with persons who simply answer the question with no explanation provided! I just reread that post Dawn_of_Love and suggest you read it again and I believe you will agree.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What I think is funny is that the original complaint is that people were wasting time by posting all of their homework problems on here, but now it's the complaining that's taking up everyone's time. lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how are you putting things so well!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now read what michaela just posted. Could you possibly at all still be on her side? Just listen to her.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol. I guess I have a way with words. Then again I've been practicing SAT essay writing lately so it makes sense I guess. lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I specifically said i am on NO_ONES side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cmon john, I agree with your overall point, but it's time we just just drop the whole michella issue and get back on with getting other stuff done.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and a way with words? xD and tru again....change of subject!!!!! Who here writes poetry!!!??!!!what? way with words reminded me!! ^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gawd im random. And guys i never meant to start a whole big issue!! :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you try to do this from the perspective of "helping" the person with the questions, you are fighting a losing battle. You have to see it for the math that it is, and for the knowledge tha tyou can gain from it as you answer the questions... in my opinion :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow. UR AWESOME!!!! :o
