How do I find the area of this parallelogram? A(0,0) B(6,3) C(2,1) D(6,-2) I know the area is length of one side * height. I know the length of AD is squareroot of (36+4) but whats the height?

you probably forgot to add the areas of triangles twice.

the area of triangle ABG is 6*3 = 18

area of BGD is similarly 18

area of ACG is 12 and so is the area of CDG
