Please use brackets.

you have to get a commmon demoninator, therefore, simplify your equation, put all x's on one side, amd all other values on the other side, because you want to isolate x to obtain a value for it, 3+x/6 = 7-x/4 3-7 = -x/4 -x/6 6(3-7) = -3x/12 -2x/12 18-42 = -5x/12 -2448 = -5x x = 489.6 if im wrong someone plz correct me

First do the operations to the fractions: 3+(x/6)=7-(x/4) (18/6)+(x/6)=(28/4)-(x/4) (18+x)/6=(28-x)/4 Then you pass the denominators to the other side: (18+x)*4=(28-x)*6 18*4+x*4=28*6-x*6 72+4x=168-6x 4x+6x=168-72 10x=96 x=48/5 or 9.6
