Find the volume of a solid of revolution generated by revolving y-sqrt(4-x^4) from x = 0 to x = 2 about the x-axis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

excuse me, correection: it's y= srt(4-x^4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

something is a little odd about the upper limit x=2, it is not in the domain of the function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I think so too, it's confusing me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

even if you rewrite it as \[y^2+x^4=4\] it makes no sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have an answer? maybe we can figure out if its a typo or we need to think in a different direction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Al Iknow if the it's going to be a number...then pi/3..It's multiple choice and all of the answers have pi/3 in it.
