Is n a function? If so then what you are describing a differential equation, which can be pretty gnarly to solve.

thanx for ur time, yes n is a function, like y(x), its n(\[\phi\]), is there any general procedure to solve this? what kind of DE is this?

Looks like a second-order ordinary non-linear DE, I'm not positive, though.
