the first 5 is small and the second is big.

the base 5 (small 5) is the main number, w.e the expression equals is the exponent, and wat that equals, is ur big 5 :)

basically with logarithms, you will have this form
\[\log_{a} b = c\]
when u want to turn this into exponential form, it becomes,
\[a ^{c} =b\]

so in this question since, x was ur c, it was a^c = b, in this case, 5 ^x = 5.
