Use the intercepts to graph the equation, x+2y=4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find intercepts, u must first isolate for y, to get a good equation so x+2y = 4 becomes y=(4-x) /2

OpenStudy (amistre64):

its a __line__

OpenStudy (amistre64):

put x = 0 and solve; put y = 0 and solve...right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then simply substitute 0 for x, find the value of y, for the y intercept and vice versa for x intercept.
