a guy wire whose grounded end is 11ft from the post it supports makes an angle of 52.1 degrees with the ground. If the wire is attached to the top of the post, find the height of the post to the nearest tenth of a foot.

The height of the post would be opposite your angle. The 11 ft from the post to the angle would be adjacent Tangent = opp/adj so Tan(52.1) = x/11 x = 11*Tan(52.1)
