I'm needing a full page 8.5x11" to be divided 1/6, 1/8, and 1/16 for ads. I just want to make sure I'm doing this correct. There needs to be 2 versions for Portrait and Landscape; an example is for 1/2: 8.5 by (11/2) or 11 by (8.5/2) and 1/4: (11/4) by 8.5 or (8.5/2) by (11/2). Very confusing I know, so any help appreciated! Thank you!!!

im not really sure what the question is....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need to know what the right equation or size is for 1/6, 1/8 and 1/16 ads to a 8.5x11 page.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

ok..... is that in relation to area or to side length?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if its side length; then you divide both sides by the denominator. If its area, you would have to be a little more ..... creative i think :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its in relation to the area of the page. :P lol

i tried the first option and the person i'm doing this for said "it's wrong" AHHH!
