zbay, i mean like how do you find the common denomenator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh give me ur problem. and i can help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok the it was 4/5-3/10 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thats right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the multiple you need to get 5 to 10 which is 2 then multiply 4 and the 5 to get your new fraction 8/10 then you would subtract the 3/10's from there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then simplify

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i also have to simplify it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh for that all you need to do is this 4/5 3/10 5 * 2 = 10 so that to turn 4/5 into the denominator 10 u need to mutiply the numerator and denominator of 4/5 by 2 to get your answer
