whats 8x+12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8x+12=8x+12 :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is simply that 8x+12, unless it is written as an equation and you are solving for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is an expression...not an equation because you're not setting it equal to anything.

im factoring monomials

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do 8x and 12 have in common? They are both divisible by 4 at the most.....so factor out a 4 like so: 8x+12=4(2x +3)
