Here's how you do it. You start by setting up your integral. In your case, you have y=1/x and you're evaluating it from 1 to 4 because you have two lines in your question. All you have to do is integrate the function 1/x and evaluate it from 1 to 4. You should get the natural logarithm of x (Lnx) after integration. Then you just evaulate by plugging in 4 to get Ln(4) and subtract the function evaulated at one, which is Ln(1). You should get 1.38629. Hope that helps ya! =)
