let n be a randomly selected number between 1 and 40. find... probability. n is prime given that it's even. So far, ive figured out that 2 is the only prime # between 1 and 40 and there are a total of 13 primes between 1 and 40. Is that correct? Or does something else factor into the answer?

1/13 is what i got...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or is it 1/20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the probability that it is even? given that it is even, what is the probability that it is 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/13 is wrong.
