Raymons study team is having a good discussion about how much info you need to write an equation for a line. Raymon says that all you need is one point. Lisa says that you have to have at least two points. Jack says that once you have the slope then you can write the equation. Sasha says that if you have the slope you need at least one point to write the equation. Who has the right idea?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you need to know 2 points in order to even define a line, and then you determine the slope by the distance and direction between them.
