Do i set this equation up like this? z=16-y^2-x^2 and then integrate on what intervals? Find the surface area of that part of the paraboloid f(x, y) = x2 + y2 which lies below the plane z = 16 . (Surface area is normally taken to be "outside" the surface, not on both sides.)
