Factor out the greatest common factor. 5x + 45x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can factor out a 5 from both sides ( you can divide 5 by 5 and you can divide 45 by 5) and you can also factor out a x from both sides (you can divide x from x and a x from x^2) all together you can factor out 5x \[5x (1 +9x)\] you can check my answer by multiplying out 5x and if it comes out as your original answer then its right.
