can anyone help me with the following question? find a value of c that makes the function: f(x)={9x-3sin3x/5x^3 , x ≠ 0 {c, x=0

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

Since lim f as x-> 0 = 0/0 we could use L'Hopitals rule and keep differentiating the numerator and denominator until lim is defined i get a value of c = 2.7

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

you have to keep taking the derivitive until you get a constant on the bottom oh and you can only do this each time if lim = 0/0

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

did that help? are you able to work it out?

thankyou so much for your help.it helped alot
