how to make a beowulf cluster?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A beowulf cluster is nothing more than commodity computers that link together to share processing power. Technically, if you have two linux machines that can share information and do remote proceedure calls on each other then you have a beowulf cluster. So to answer your question, just connect multiple computers together and enable them to run programs on each other and you have a beowulf cluster. Depending on your needs you may write new software in order to process the data you are working on and distribute it among the computers or create a centeralized server to work as network storage so that any computer can load the required programs by accessing it.
