i need to factor this problem 2r^3+4r^2-48r

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the gcf methode and pull out a 2r from everyone of the numbers. post what you get because sometimes you have to do another process also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am new at this sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(2r)(r-4)(r+6) r is going to be -6 and 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok if you divide each of the numbers by a 2r it's going to reduce the amount that remain. so you end up with (2r(r^2+2r+24))

OpenStudy (radar):

Don't forget the root r=0
