i dont understand how to solve these
Its dealing with ratios. So you first have to know what the ratio are. It is given here in these problems.
in the first problem the ratio is 1:2.
what does that mean? It means that the size of the second object is going to be twice of that of the first.
so the new ratio would be 4:8
