what is the formula to find inverse matrices A..?example 2x2 matrices.. A=[2 5 1 4]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

assuming you know determinants, its \[1/\det(a) *(d & -b \ -c & a) if A = (a & b \ c & d)\]

OpenStudy (nowhereman):

You can calculate them with Gauß elimination algorithm or in lower dimensional cases with Cramer's rule.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or just do a b | 1 0 c d | 0 1 and put the left side in row reduced echelon form, doing the same operations to the right side. The right side is then the inverse.

thanks for info..now i can solve it...
