Divide -3-3i ------- 5-6i A.) -33t33i -------- 11 B.)-6+5i ------- 10 C.) 3-33i ------ 61 D.)3-33i -------- 61+60i

OpenStudy (radar):

(33-33i)/61 . don't see that choice, so I guess I am wrong. I multiplied both numerator and denominator by the conjugate surd (5+6i)

OpenStudy (radar):

Please enlighten me amistre64

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d

OpenStudy (amistre64):

multiplying by the conjugat is a good step: -3-3i (5+6i) -15-18i-15i +18 ----- ----- = ---------------- 5-6i (5+6i) 25+36

OpenStudy (amistre64):

3 - 33i ------ 61

OpenStudy (amistre64):

C :)

OpenStudy (radar):

I see now what I did wrong ....signs had +15 rather than -15 lol

OpenStudy (amistre64):

OpenStudy (radar):
