yesterday you helped me with this The width of my room, is 25% of its length. If the perimeter is 70 meters, then what are the length and width? was that 70meters or 70 ft this is my teacher response Please check your measurements. First, the ratio of the width to the length is too small. Your room must very narrow. Second, the perimeter of 70 meters appears to be to big for a room in a residence. Is it in meters or feet?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

im here now :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

feet; as a carpenter In florida, we work with feet :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

an average bedroom is 10 by 10 feet, 8 by 11 feet; master beedrooms I have built are like 10 by 15 feet. so 70 for a perimeter aint bad

OpenStudy (amistre64):

we used 7 feet wide and 28 feet long, thats like a walk in closet in a bordeaux lol

OpenStudy (amistre64):

tell your teacher to quit worryin gabout the size of the rooms in your house ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so its 70ft 7X28?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

7+7 = 14 28+28=56 ---------- 70 ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats right it had to be a rectangle so then it would be 14X56?

OpenStudy (amistre64):
