OpenStudy (yuki):

lim (h->0) (sqrt(25+h)-5)/h I thought that f(x) = sqrt(25) therefore the limit is = 0... but it was not right. Can someone help me out ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Notice that this is the derivative of f(x)=sqrt(x) evaluated at 25 in disguise.

OpenStudy (yuki):

Oh, right, so all I am looking for is f'(5) when f'(x) = -1/(2sqrt(x)) ! Thanks a lot.

OpenStudy (yuki):

woops, no negative.
