The amplitude is the easy one. Notice that the wave goes up and down periodically ? The distance from the top of the wave to the bottom of the wave is always constant. For those, the distance from the average height of the wave is the amplitude. so it is the distance between the top and bottom divided by 2.

Now for the period, I need a biiit more better graph to say 100%, but is looks like in one period, you can graph the shape from -pi to pi. Am I correct ? Can you repeatedly graph the same shape using that interval ?

If it is, then the period is just 2pi.
