Determine the domain and range of y= \[\pm \sqrt{4-x^{2}}\] and y= -(x/4-2x) I know the domain are continuous everywhere, but I forgot how to determine the range.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you sure it is continuous everywhere? The square root sign and a denominator seems to be saying otherwise.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is continous everywhere EXCEPT at + or - 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea, I made a mistake I was thinking of something else. Can youhelp me determine the range?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The range would positive infinity to minus infinity
