use a system of equations to find the parabola of the form ax^2+bx+c that goes through the three given points (0,0)(-4,80)(-2,24)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You set up an equation. The form is y=ax^2+bx+c. For each set of points starting with (0,0) You plug in for y and x. That is how you get started.

Have you learned matrixes yet? Because you can use your calc to solve that... If not just set up 3 equations where you replace y=ax^2+bx+c, and then you can either substitute or cancel.
