Into this:
(x – 12)(x + 2)

(x - 12)(x + 2)
x^2 + 2x - 12x - 24
x^2 - 10x - 24

Ax^2 + Bx + C
When factoring, you need to find two values that multiply together to give you C. These multiples must also add together to get B.
