Find the LCM of 3x(x+2) and 6x(2x-3). Is it just x+2 and 2x-3??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x(x+2) 2*3x(2x-3) The terms in common are 3 and x so you use those plus anything left over. 3x (what they both have) and 2(x+2)(2x-3) what they don't have in common. 3x*2(x+2)(2x-3) LCM is 6x(x+2)(2x-3)
