can any one tell me how to divide fractions??

you have to change it into multiplication.
you have to flip the fraction after each dividing sign (reciprocal)

for instance
\[\frac{1}{2} \div \frac{1}{3} = \frac{1}{2} * \frac{3}{1} = \frac{3}{2}\]

makes sense?
