I noticed a little bug: sometimes a Notification seems to trigger that small popup again and again and won't stop until reloading the page.

Yeah, that's from a JavaScript error. There are some edge cases that seem to trigger those (in particular, earlier today, a particular username was triggering it; we've since fixed that issue).
