an arch of balloon edcorate the entrance to a high school prom. The ballons are tied to a frame, the shape of the frame can be modeled by Y= - 1/4x to the second power +3 where x and y are measured on feet. what is the maximum height of the arch of balloons?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the height of the arch or the height of the ballons? you give no measurement for the ballons, so only the arch itself can be determined

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = -1/4(x^2)+3 the height of the arch is 3; but there is nothing to base any other measurement off of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or rather; (-1/4)x^2 + 3 ? which is the problem?
