I need help solving equations. =[ My first questions would be 2x+4=3x+7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract the 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 7from what tho?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get you x's on a sid and your constants on the other

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you get x's on one side so subtract 7 under 4. subtract the 2x to 3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then you will have -3=x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So like this? 2x+4=3x+7 -4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nopee look at what i said before

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i did but i still dont get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm im tryna find a easy way to explain it to you. its easier written down

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i know :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have any paper?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep, i do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok well write your problem down

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now take the 7 on the right side and subtract to the left so you end up with 2x-3=3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now subtract the 2x to the 3x on the other side
