take the bottom fraction; turn if over; spank it and multiply it across :) 45x^10 18y^3 ------- * ------- 18y^7 30x^2

3x^8 1 ------- * ------- = 3x^8/2y^4 y^4 2

that bottom variable is a "y^4" :)
