no thats the thing my maths teacher just told us there will be an inequalitie with 3 absolute values on it

here is a possible example |3|<|x+1|<|5| solve for x normally except include both pos and neg cases 3<x+1<5 2<x<4 for neg flip the inequality signs -3>x+1>-5 -4>x >-6 hope that helps
