This is definitely the last problem of the night!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y ^{4}-100=0\]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

(y^2+10)(y^2-10)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This one seems to be simple. For some reason I typed the last answer in incorrectly. Picky online assignemtns

OpenStudy (amistre64):

y^2 = 10 y = sqrt(10)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

y = +- sqrt(10)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the other sets is complex; y = +- i sqrt(10), but I dont know if your program wants complex numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says to enter all the solutionsi n the box even if some or all solutions are the same. Strange. there are 4 boxes. This is my last problem and I can't get anymore wrong so I want to make sure to type everything in correctly

OpenStudy (amistre64):

y = sqrt(10) y = - sqrt(10) y = i sqrt(10) y = -i sqrt(10)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'll try it out. thanks!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i wish i knew what format your program wanted it in :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I knoww. Hmm. the i and - are separate from the square root sign ya think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

doesn't i=-? i'm so scared to submit this cuz i want to make sure it's correct. Anyone else mind double checking?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm it was correct! Praise the Lord.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

:) yay!!
