OpenStudy (anonymous):

49

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks your my favorite tootor

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7 times 7 is 49. and you can multiply them by using a calculator, memorizing it, or do 7+7+7+7+7+7+7.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay.new favorite tutor

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay then whats 8 times 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

64

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about 9 times nine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can also look up a multiplication table.... eventually you will know these off of the top of your head

OpenStudy (anonymous):

81

OpenStudy (anonymous):

69 :) hahahaha....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's 49 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay cuz i in seventh grade and my teacher keeps talking about multiplication and i think i got it. you just keep adding the same number like 2 times 2 = 2plus 2 which equals for okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the same number you take that number and add it together that many times. If you need to use the calculator the multiplication button is either and x or *

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not allowed a calculator in my class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right but as you get into higher math it would probably be easier to learn the multiplication table at least up to 12 they had us do that in elementary school... It will help you out a lot and make things a lot easier

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in elementary school we didnt even have math

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow.. u learn multiplication in 7th grade... no wonder americas edu system is screwed up :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r you calling me dumb?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no... I'm calling the american system screwed up. it includes every kid in the system.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No he isn't calling you dumb just saying things have changed a lot how things are taught they used to teach us multiplication in like 4th grade

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at least ur trying to learn. some kids don't even do that. proud of u.. keep it up and you'll get far :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And because of the change our education quality has dropped

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree with loco Way to be a champ!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay can anyone help me with a box and whisker plot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks mmbuckaroos :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem loco gave you a medal for that! and sure what's the problem ty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

io already got the numbers in orderbut we need to find the minimum value the median the upper quartile the lower quartile and the maximum value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i learned the box and whiskers last year... i'm not positive but im pretty sure u find the median of the data... then you find the median of the lower and upper parts and this becomes the box then u add the lowest and highest values making the whiskers. also it would help if u give us the numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the numbers are:72 73 73 76 77 80 82 82 90 95

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so now u cross out one number from the left then right and keep doing that until u get to the middle... this is your median

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay i did that already i need help with the quartiles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait i know it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the lower is the bottom median

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the top is the higher median

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so you do the numbers lower of the median the median of them and the same for the higher

OpenStudy (anonymous):

GOT IT THANKS.ill take it from here man thanks appreciate it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not a man! im a girl! but sure :)
