i need some help with simplifing this problem: square root of 27 divided by the square root of 12.

it is 3/2

sqrt (27) = 3 sqrt(3) sqrt (12) = 2 sqrt(3) the sqrt(3) cancel and your left with 3/2

so it comes out as a fraction?

yea , well 3/2 = 1.5
