Please help me. a tank is 4/5 full of water. if 40 gallons more water are needed to fill the tank completely, find the capacity of the tank. (please show work)

So 1/5th of the tank is empty and 40 Gallons were used to filled it to full. since 40 Gallons was 1/5th of the tank, five times 40 gallons would be the total amount of water. 5x40 = 200 Gallons.
