Please help! Use polynomial division to find the quotient Q(x) and the remainder R(x) when the first polynomial is divided by the second polynomial. answer for: 2x^4-3x^3-4x-2, x-1
It's the good old high school long division, only you are using x's and stuff.
Good old confusing for me. The book makes no sense
You go x in the big one 2x^3, the multiply by x-1 and on and on
Big one? I'm lost
The answer is : Quotient : 2x^3-x^2-x-5 Remainder is -7
How do you get that answer? I have many more to do but it's confusing me.
