FIND how many boards must be sold to break even. how much money is needed to produce the break even number of boards.?

the break even point; total cost must equal total revenue..

R = 40x

C = 30x + 8000

So, whe R = C we reach the breakeven point.

40x = 30x+8000    ; -30x

10x = 8000      ; /10

x = 800
