Mathematics 10 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

ln5x+lnx=7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ln (5x^2) = 7 5x^2 = e^(7)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x^2 = (1/5)e^7\] \[x= +- \frac{1}{\sqrt{5}} e ^{7/2}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but , x cannt be a negative number , otherwise we will take the log of a negative ( which is undefined) when we sub into the original equations so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[ x = \frac{1}{ \sqrt{5}} e ^{7/2}\] is the only solution

okay thank you very much.
